1960s vintage bubblegum pink swimsuit - retro pinup one piece

GORGEOUS 1960s vintage swimsuit in a bright bubblegum pink, made in NZ! Come on Barbie - lets go party!
The swimsuit is made of a thick, elastic knitted fabric which gives it a really structured, flattering look. It has a tie back, skirted front, full coverage on the butt and semi-soft cups. I would guess a modern size small/xs small.

Optional add on: Top off the look with a classic retro swim cap and youre ready to be the bell of the beach. For an additional $30 NZD (approx. $20 USD) you can choose to add the floral swim cap to your order! Just message me and I'll adjust the price so you can order. Please note: The swimsuit is from the 1960s. I am not 100% sure the age of the swim cap. The markings on the inside make me think its vintage, but there are ones available on the internet that are very similar, so I don't want to say for sure. Regardless of its age - its a super fun piece!

CONDITION:
Swimsuit: Really good condition. There is just a bit of fabric pilling on the bottom backside (pictured), but its not too bad.
Swim Cap: Overall good condition. It is structurally intact without any tears or holes. Some of the flowers have light staining / age marks on them. Please note the pink of the swim cap and swimsuits are not an exact match.


SIZING: The swimsuit would probably fit a
modern size small. The tag says 34 referring to the bust.
With vintage items, because sizes back then varied and dont always translate to modern sizing, flat lay measurements are whats given. This means I lay the garment on a table, and measure straight across the bust, waist and hips. You then double the measurements to give you the circumference or actual measurements as would fit on a person!
Because this swimsuit is stretchy, the measurements given are going to be the smallest size. You can add a couple inches for stretch!

Swimsuit laying flat in inches: 
Bust: 14.5 across - but did not account for the extra room the cups give and the open back (approx. 37 cm)
Waist: 12 (approx. 30 cm)
Hips: 15.5 (approx. 39 cm)
Total length: 26 - (approx. 66 cm)
Arm openings: 8"

Swim cap: Inside top to bottom is about 8". Inside left to right is 10" laying flat. It fit my head well which has a circumference of 22" measuring just above the eyebrows all the way around. (could probably stretch further though!)
