Lovely “study” painting of one of Albert Namatjira‘s works. Namatjira was a famous aboriginal artist from Australia that specialized in blending indigenous and western styles. His signature subjects were the Ghost Gum Eucalyptus trees and the Western MacDonnell Ranged in the Northern Territory of Australia.
The piece is an actual painting, but one done as a study. It’s signed Bert Hirst - Nelson and dated 1974.
Dimensions: approx. 19.75 x 15.75 inches.
