Description: Beautiful, sparkly vintage green Christmas tree. The tree is from New Zealand, most likely from the N.Z. Tinsel Limited Company, which was established in Auckland in 1959. Approx. 72” tall x 28” wide. (in the picture with the tree skirt, I have sitting on a small box which is a great way to give it a little more height if desired)

Condition: Overall good vintage condition. The stand is a little squirrely, but it works. Trees this size usually had the larger aluminum stands, but this one looks like the smaller types that are usually with the 4’ trees. Maybe it got switched somewhere down the line. You have to make sure all 3 hinges are tightly against the trunk and then rotate the tree if it’s leaning off center.
Some of the branches may be snug or slightly loose in the wooden holes, but they all fit! Branches can me molded into the positions desired. Some may be slightly crooked, but can be bent back if needed. Some branches might have the tinsel slightly smushed in patches. Tinsel bits to be expected at the bottom of the box. Tree trunk may lean slightly at first, but the center poles can be rotated until it balances. The wooden poles fit together, but you may have to twist the dowels in if it’s a snug fit. Please note this is vintage tinsel, not aluminum metal (the stand is aluminum).

Vintage disclosure: Any major flaws will be noted, but please view pictures carefully & keep in mind these are vintage items and are expected to have time-worn flaws which give them character.
