Antique red ensign flag of Australia. This is a cotton printed “parade flag” on a wooden pole with a gold painted finial. This was most likely used in a parade, a military ceremony or patriotic event of some kind.
Measurements: overall 33 x 21 inches
Condition: Some marks / discoloration from age. Small rips/ holes in the cotton. Slight fraying edges. Wrinkles could be easily addressed with a clothes steamer.
