Vintage white ensign flag of New Zealand. This type of flag was adopted in 1968 and was flown for the first time on the HMNZS Waikato.
The flag is a woven wool, made up of individual stitched panels, has a brass hook and twine rope. It also has a wooden toggle piece sewed into the hoist.
Measurements: approx. 17x37 inches
Condition: Some marks / discoloration from age as well as bit of color bleeding of the red onto the white. Small rips/ holes in the fabric. Slight fraying edges. Wrinkles could be easily addressed with a clothes steamer.
