Vintage NZ Kiwi bird figurine in a very midcentury style. The bottom felting says “Pure Brass Forging by Simon Metal Products NZ.” Simon Metal Products was founded in the 1950’s and was around until the 1980’s. The kiwi is somewhat heavy, a brass metal and in a warm, golden hue. The kiwi has patina, some bits where the metal is more “foggy” than shiny, and there are some surface scratches as well. Great for a gift or bookshelf decor.
