Midsummer Night’s Dream - 1930s sheer pink dress with rhinestones, puff sleeves and bodice buttons down the back

Authentic 1930’s dress that is very reminiscent of the gauzy, glittery, romantic 1935 Midsummer Night’s Dream film. The dress is a gossamer pink with a flowy drop waist featuring soft “w” shaped stitching. The sleeves are a puff-petal design and the upper chest has some some gorgeous embellishments featuring tiny glass beads, rhinestones and translucent pink teardrops. Down the entire back of the dress are decorative bodice buttons, which look so sexy paired with the translucent, gauzy fabric, following the curve of the back into the hips.
There is a side opening on the left with snap closures.

Please view pictures for condition. The dress is delicate and in fair condition, but still wearable! There is a small rip along the top of the dress above the beaded design. There is also one along the side under the snap buttons. There are holes and discoloration/staining all over the dress. Some rhinestones or sequins could be added to match the original ones on the dress to cover up the holes and stains.
I personally never let a bit of wear and tear stop me from wearing interesting and beautiful pieces, but this could definitely be taken to a trusted seamstress to refurbish. 😊

- Across chest: 17 inches laying flat (so would fit up to a 34 inch bust)
- Across waist: approx. 14.5 inches laying flat (would fit up to 29 inch waist)
