Rare 7’ Gold midcentury modern Christmas Tree

Rare, extra large vintage tinsel Christmas tree in a warm, sparkly gold! The tree is from New Zealand from the Tinsel NZ limited company.

The tree is 81” tall and about 32” wide. It’s just shy of 7 feet tall, but you could set it on a wide box and cover it with a tree skirt to give it a little more height if desired.

Detailed condition report: Over all really good vintage condition. There are about 101 branches total, but 3 have been cut short. There are just a handful missing, but it’s not noticeable when assembled. There are 4 wooden poles for the trunk, but some of the dowels fit a little loose into the connecting holes. This may give the tree a little lean. When this happens, I stick some tissue paper into the holes to make it more snug, and rotate the pole until it’s in a straight position. The poles have “top, top middle, lower middle and bottom” written in pen on them. Some of the branches have to be wiggled into the wooden holes, but they all fit! Tinsel bits to be expected at the bottom of the box. Please note this is vintage tinsel, not aluminum metal.
