Antique carved vase / candle holder made from New Zealand ‘Ponga’, the Maōri name for Giant Tree Fern - the New Zealand National emblem. This vase is completely unique as it came from the trunk of a fern tree. Probably from the early 1900’s to 1930’s if I had to guess.
