WWII HMNZS Waiho ship pennant flag - New Zealand vintage flag
WWII ship pennant flag from the HMNZS Waiho, which was commissioned into service with the Royal New Zealand Navy on June 3rd, 1944. The Waiho was a minesweeper, and was named after the Waiho River on the west coast of New Zealand’s South Island.
This pennant flag is such a unique piece of history and makes for a great display piece!
36 x 17 inches.
Please see pictures for condition. Lots of holes and stains from age. Has a slightly “vintage” smell. I did not wash it because I didn’t want to cause any damage, but if desired, it definitely could be hand-washed to spruce it up a bit. (I just personally like the weathered look)
Free shipping world wide! (If you're in NZ, please message me for a local discount)
